Following Dino's lead, thought I'd give a preview of things to come in my writing.

Champions (Marvel Omega) - After finally getting the first arc completed at the end of the year, this new year will kick start a full years worth of issues I hope. There will definitely be more issues this year than before. Starting off the journey is a tie-in to the "Threaded Moon" arc running through Hunter's Runaways. It was first one issue, but has morphed into two issues worth of story. After that comes an arc idea that I have had running thorugh my head for years for different stories. "Deep Blue Sea" features the Champions in an underwater prison, and features a group of villains from the original Champions returning for revenge. There will be an annual, but I'll leave that for when I explain Nova in a bit.

Champions (Marvel Reborn) - My second Champions series is just getting off the ground with Nighthawk leading his team against Joystick and the Great Game. After that will feature an arc with the return of the Squadron Sinister, and a new look and attitude for Nighthawk.

Invincible Iron Man (Marvel Reborn)
- This is one of my favorite titles to write so far. Tony Stark is a interesting character and a lot of fun to write. After the first arc and the death of Happy Hogan, the next arc guest stars Captain America, and brings back a handful of Tony's enemies. Meanwhile Tony is acting strange and falling totally into his playboy lifestyle, as the hidden enemy from the first arc makes a move on the heroes mind this time. There will be a twist concerning Iron Man by arcs end that leads right into the next arc entitled "Who is Iron Man?", and then a stand alone issue that can only be called "The Death of Iron Man".

Gravity (Altered Visions)- I finally got around to pitching this title at AV. Gravity is one my favorite characters from his mini series and other appearances. There was an interview before where Gravity was described as the Spider-Man of the new generation. That's how I see him for this series. He's the rookie hero, the average Joe. From a small town, now living in a big city full of heroes he has lots to learn. He's shy around the women, barely making it through school, trying to find low paying jobs just to get by. Expect a lot of obscure villains as well as lots of original villains in this title. The first issue is almost done and ready to turn in. The first arc will feature the Black Death and Gravity's arrival in New York. His origin will be featured fully in the Gravity Annual.

What's To Come:
I'm really excited to turn in my pitch for an ongoing title at Marvel 2000. It's taking a title that has been running for years at Marvel...but doing it in a hopefully new and surprising direction. It's a title I've long wanted to tackle. I've also got a few ideas for a title to pitch at Marvel Knights Group, as well as the Initiative. What I really want to do is a DC title. Now that Hunter and I scrapped our DC stuff at The House of Ideas, I feel an urge to write more. I'm thinking about Outsiders for Faux DC, but trying to work the pitch out. The other thought I have is for Ultimate Flash or Green Lantern for Ultimate DC if it returns. Perhaps there are other titles at the DC sites I can take a shot at...time will tell.

Uncanny X-Men (Marvel Reborn) - Doug and I got a lot of cool ideas and plans for this title, and I'm loving writing it. Just got the plot for issue # 2 from Doug last night and already have started in on the issue. It's such a fun title to write. I thought at first that I wasn't getting it and that people wouldn't like it, but from the reactions so far I'm glad I did it the way I did.

Nova (Marvel Omega) -
I pitched this title over a year ago, and it can finally start seeing the light of day this year now that Champions is reaching a point that I needed it to be for Nova to duck out. When I pitched this title, I sent in the first twelve issue plans, but I sat and worked out over 36 issues worth of ideas when I first decided to pitch it. It's the title I'm most excited for. I'm a late comer to being a fan of Nova (With Annihilation and the new series), but he's quickly become one of my favorite characters. The series will focus more on life away from Earth, and will include some well known Cosmic characters as supporting cast. The first arc will actually start in issue one and make a detour into the Champions Annual before concluding in the second issue of the series. With Nova being away so much, he won't be leaving the team fully, but going into reserve. So he will definitely be showing up when the team really needs him or it fits into the continuity of both titles.

Starjammers (M2K) - With issue one of the mini series out, I have four more issues to come. The secret of the young girl they are carrying will be revealed, as will history of what happened to Starlord (albeit in a Marvel Fanfare issue or Marvel Max issue). I have some ideas with the title to possibly pitch for an ongoing once the mini series is over. I'm enjoying writing this crew, after my first hesitations.

I think you should hold off on pitching anything else until you either a) have a consistent schedule with your titles or b) have a backlog of those titles that are just waiting on the editor to post. Right now you've got quite a bit on your plate as well as the stuff going on in your personal life.

Probably a good idea. Most of my pitch ideas are for later in the year, once I get my other stuff going strong. The plan is to not let things stagnate and sit with no updates forever like the past two years. Plotting out the issues is helping a lot in getting them done, instead of just flying by the seat of my pants.

I think that is the best way to do it, write a concise plot for each issue, that way you have a definite plan to follow. Makes life that little easier.

Also you forgot to add you are writing at least 1 arc for Decimation: X.S.E. at THOIN! If you still are (please???) haha

Dave (Mackers)

Very true. And you are right, I did forget that. I am indeed still writing that arc. Excited to get my grubby mitts on Peter Wisdom in a new project. At least that one arc...who knows what else I'll pitch your way for it lol.
